Applications are currently being accepted for the 2010 Miss Wayne County Scholarship Pageant, an official Miss America preliminary.
Any woman age 17-24 who lives, works or attends school full time is eligible to apply. Contestants will compete in the following categories: interview, lifestyle, swimsuit, evening gown, talent and onstage question.
The winner will receive a cash scholarship and will represent Wayne County at the 2011 Miss Michigan Pageant to be held in Muskegon.

The pageant is set for Sept. 11 at Churchill High School, 8900 Newburgh Road, Livonia.
