Miss Michigan 2008
On June 21, 2008, Ashlee Baracy was crowned Miss Michigan 2008 at the Frauenthal Theatre in Muskegon, MI - the fifth Miss Wayne County crowned Miss Michigan! Ashlee also won the State Academic Scholarship, State Community Service Award, and a Preliminary Swimsuit Award. Way to go, Ashlee!
Miss America 2009
On January 24, 2009, the 88th Miss America Pageant was held at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. After a week of rehearsals, events, and preliminary competitions, Miss Indiana, Katie Stam, was crowned Miss America 2009!
Our very own Miss Wayne County 2007 & Miss Michigan 2008, Ashlee Baracy, not only placed in the Top 10, but also placed 1st runner-up to the Evelyn Ay Sempier Quality of Life Award. Congratulations, Ashlee!
