2021 Judges


Miss Wayne County must be talented, intelligent and well-spoken, a leader, have a commitment to her community, be contemporary in her style and fashion - a relatable and individual "it girl" who can connect with today's modern woman, as well as being physically fit. To determine who will be Miss Wayne County 2021, the following uniquely qualified panel of judges has been selected:

Traci Spring

Traci Spring is President and Judges Chair for the Miss Jackson Crossroads program.  A former candidate in that program, she loves being able to encourage young women to be a part of the Miss Ameria program. 

​Traci recently retired from Consumers Energy to focus on watching her first grandchild - a girl - a couple days a week.  She is also on the board of Jackson's domestic violence program, is active in her church, and enjoys playing piano.


John Brubaker

John Brubaker, was born in Atlantic City, NJ, the home of Miss America and has had a family past with the pageant.  He currently lives in Sterling Heights, MI.

John is a pharmacist at Ascension Michigan Pharmacy Professional Building and has been active in the past year overseeing and administering COVID-19 vaccinations.  He has been a practicing pharmacist for 34 years, the majority of those being at the location in Detroit.  He is currently the President of Macomb County Pharmacists Association. 

John is married for 33 years to his wife, Denise, a clinical bone marrow transplant pharmacist at Michigan Medicine C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. He has one dog, Jaeger, who he trains in obedience and scent work.  This is John's 3rd time judging for Miss Wayne County. 


Jeanne Magoulick

Jeannie Magoulick obtained her BS in Mechanical Engineering from U/D Mercy and her MBA from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business.  She has been with the Ford Motor Company for over 25 years.

As a Manufacturing Engineer Manager, she is a mentor to interns and new college graduates hiring into Ford.

She was the keynote speaker for the 2020 Connected Manufacturing conference and was a panelist for the MIT Work of the Future conference.

She recently judged the Miss Oakland County Outstanding Teen program this past August.  She and her husband reside in Livonia.


Dr. Ronald Kitchen

Dr. Ronald Kitchen is a former graduate of Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry and currently serves as the Chief of Dental Service at the John D. Dingell VA Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.  He also works in the private sector at Amazing Smiles Dental Implant Center.  Dr. Kitchen is an alumni of Western Michigan University.

After graduation from Meharry, Dr. Kitchen continued his education in a post graduate residency program at the University of California San Francisco where he was exposed to cutting edge dental procedures.

Once the program was over, Dr. Kitchen returned to Meharry Medical College where he earned the title of Resident of the Year for 2003.  Dr. Kitchen then decided to take his career even further by specializing as a Prosthodontist at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in conjunction with the University of Michigan.

A member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Dr. Kitchen is very active in his church and community.  He resides in Farmington Hills with his wife of 25 years, Anthonia.


Cheryll Custer Klein

Cheryll Custer Klein is a board certified dance instructor, award winning choreographer, master class instructor, and sought after competition adjudicator.  She began teaching dance at a young age in 1999, realizing it was her passion in life.  She is an accomplished teacher in lyrical, contemporary, ballet, jazz, acrobatics, stretching, and strengthening technique.

She is an active member of Dance Masters of Michigan, currently servicing as 1st Vice President and Faculty Chair; Dance Masters of America, Cecchetti Council of America and its Eastern Michigan committee.  She has danced her entire life, competing and performing.

Cheryll holds a BA from the University of Michigan and a BS from Eastern Michigan University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.  She also enjoys spending quality time with her son, Landon, and her husband, Fred.
