Mark Steckloff aged out as a Pageant Dad in 2008, only to pursue a second career as lighting diva, comedic entertainer, judges’ chair and publicity guru for Miss Oakland County. He has judged multiple Miss America competitions and appreciates the talent, intelligence, style and community service routinely displayed by Miss Wayne County candidates. A graduate of Cornell University and the University of Michigan Law School, Mark practiced employee benefits and labor law for some 40 years. Since retiring in 2015, he has enjoyed tutoring English literacy with the Oakland Literacy Council, traveling the world and doting on his grandson. An avid tennis player, he is not quite ready to downshift into pickle ball. Mark lives in Farmington Hills with his wife Vicki Barnett, the mayor of that city. They are immensely proud of their two children: current State Representative Samantha Steckloff, a former Miss Oakland County and Miss Michigan Top 3, and son Jordan Steckloff, a renowned astrophysicist currently affiliated with the Planetary Science Institute and University of Texas. |

Anthonia Kitchen is a graduate of Oakland Community College with a degree in communications. Anthonia has represented the state of Michigan as a national titleholder in numerous national pageants, including the 1988 Miss USA Pageant. She has worked as a petite model for such clients as Hush Puppies, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Johnson’s Products, just to name a few. She has been featured in numerous industrial films, commercials, and feature films including the movie A Rage In Harlem, Demoted, and Trust. Anthonia has even appeared in an episode of the TV comedy Detroiters alongside former Detroit Piston, Rick Mahorn. Anthonia toured the country as an Exhibit Manager for Subaru of America for all of their auto shows, special events, and the filming of the Antiques Road Show in which Subaru was a sponsor. Anthonia is now the Account Manager for Subaru of America and oversees all auto shows and special events in the US. Anthonia has been married to her husband Dr. Ronald Kitchen, DDS for 26 years. |

Florie is a current resident of Shelby Township, Michigan and magna cum laude graduate of Oakland University where she double majored in performance arts, specializing in dance, secondary education, and French language and literature. She is currently a reading intervention specialist in Lake Orion where she helps struggling elementary readers. She formerly ran a creative movement program specializing in collaborative dance at Stadium Drive Elementary for 20 years. Florie has taught and continues to teach dance technique of all styles to children of all ages in a private dance studio as well. She is also the head of the acrobatic program both recreationally and competitively.
Florie has participated in pageants since she was a teen. She was part of the Miss America Organization for many years and held the titles of Miss Wayne County (Redford Township) ‘95 and Miss Heart of Michigan ‘96. Florie continues to be actively involved in pageantry with her daughter who has held many local, state, and national titles. Florie actively judges local pageants and works behind the scenes as a volunteer. She is an active member of her community and church. Her life motto is "Do what you love, and love what you do!" Her biggest joys come from seeing her students and children strive to succeed and always work hard to be the best they can be. Florie is married to her husband Mike of 24 years, and they have three beautiful children: Mario, Gino, and Lena Rose. |

Ms. McCoskey is an attorney, caregiver, and active community volunteer. She has an extensive background in mentoring, modeling, pageantry, public speaking, dance, vocal and instrumental music. She enjoys traveling, golf, reading, and interior design. Ms. McCoskey has been happily married for 36 years and is the proud mother of two adult daughters. |

A high school math and Spanish teacher, Maria earned a BA in Secondary Education and a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in online education. Maria has worked professionally as a performer at local theatres, theme parks, in Germany, and on a Carnival cruise ship. Maria sings with The KlassiCs, a Metro Detroit Doo Wop group, and most recently choreographed The Little Mermaid Jr. for Grosse Pointe Theatre and music directed Teen Beach Movie for a musical theatre camp in California. Outside of teaching and the performing arts, Maria enjoys gardening, bike riding, swimming, yoga, and spending time with her husband Wayne, son Mason, and daughter Vayla. Maria and her children participate in Ninja Warrior training. As a teenager, Maria competed in talent competitions and pageants. She won many national titles in 1986, including Miss Teen Broadway and North America’s Miss Teen Talent. In 1987, she was crowned Michigan’s Modern Miss and won the talent competition at Nationals. Maria returned to the pageant world this past May when she competed in the Mrs. Michigan pageant and received the Director’s Award. |
