2025 Contestant Application

To compete in the 2025 Miss Wayne County Scholarship Program, you must:*

  • Be a United States citizen.
  • Be between the ages of 18-28 — must be 18 by Miss Michigan competition on June 15, 2026 and no older than 27 on June 15, 2026.
  • ​Live or work full-time in Wayne County or physically attend school full-time in Wayne County.
  • Have a talent that can be performed on stage in 90 seconds or less.
  • Satisfy the participation and local registration fees.
  • Be able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities as set forth by Miss America.
  • Not be a candidate, titleholder, or representative of a competing program to the Miss America and Miss America's Teen programs.

    **If you do not have a final cut version of your music to upload right now, that's okay.  You can upload it on the Paperwork page later.  Please note that talent song selections are registered on a first come, first served basis, so it's important to register your music as soon as possible.  Two contestants cannot perform to the same song even if they are performing different talents.

    You are responsible for making the desired cuts to your music.  The time limit for the talent competition is 90 seconds.  The version you turn is must be of competition quality.  Talent CDs may not be enhanced.  For example:  Background vocals cannot sing the same words at the same time as the performer.  If you find that you are having problems, please contact us.
