Coni Hull-Taylor had the honor of serving as Miss Jackson County 1993, Miss Redford Township 1994, and Miss Michigan 1995. She was able to use the scholarship awards she earned through the Miss America Organization to fulfill her career goal of becoming an attorney. She graduated with high honors from Michigan State University and went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University. Upon graduation from law school, she was selected to serve as a Presidential Management Intern (PMI) in Washington, D.C. After completing the PMI program, she returned to Michigan where she has served school districts in the Grand Rapids and Traverse City areas for the past 24 years.

Currently, Coni is the Associate Superintendent for Labor Relations and Legal Services for Traverse City Area Public Schools. Coni is blissfully married to her amazing husband, Robert, and the two have a beautiful combined family that includes six amazing young adults, Jack (Claire), Alli (Adam), Alex, and Anna. As empty nesters, they are enjoying life in breathtaking Northern Michigan with their four dogs, Murphy, Duke, Rudy, and Izzobella.
